How did we help a geospatial software company set up a GCC at Covrize?

Our Journey

One of the earliest projects we took was for a client in the rapidly evolving GIS sector – A GIS-based software company.

With changing needs, constant innovation, and the demand for skilled talent, managing everything can become complicated – sometimes even impossible!

When our client faced these challenges, they reached out to us, and together, we found a solution – forming a GCC for their client-side customization and development needs.

The trouble our partner had (in 30 Seconds)

Our Partner had a product development & maintenance team but lacked

One

An extended team for product enhancements

One

A team for client-side customizations

One

Diverse tech talent that was often needed

One

Budget to hire a dev for every small need

What made them partner with us?

They required customization experience

We specialize in delivering bespoke software solutions.

Cybersecurity

They wanted a seamless shift

We ensured a smooth transition from GCC to a fully owned captive.

How we have offered them a complete GCC Solution?

We formed 2 dedicated tech teams for 2 different projects.

.Net Core Engineers

Team 1 – .NET Core

A team of 12 .NET Core engineers and one Manager at Covrize was assembled to work on the client’s ongoing and upcoming Smart City projects.

They leveraged the client’s existing GIS software while closely coordinating with a Client’s Manager and Product Development Team.

Team 2 – PHP

For a new project, we assembled a team of 7 PHP developers and one manager at Covrize. Our manager worked directly with the client’s VP of Technology, who oversaw the project requirements while also collaborating with the GIS product development team to ensure smooth execution.
